Con un Contrato Marco Global en el Ámbito de la Ingeniería y el Software Embarcado

(París, 28 de agosto de 2008) - EADS, líder mundial en la industria aeroespacial, de defensa y servicios asociados, ha elegido a Atos Origin, una de las empresas líderes a nivel mundial en servicios internacionales de tecnología de la información como proveedor preferente en Servicios de Ingeniería. Esta elección ha confirmado y renovado la confianza que ha marcado la colaboración entre las dos empresas en el ámbito de a ingeniería y el software embarcado en Francia y España durante más de 15 años. Atos Origin se enorgullece de ser uno de los 28 socios seleccionados a nivel mundial por EADS tras un riguroso proceso de concurso en el que han participado más de 2000 prestatarios.

Following on from the initial framework contract with EADS in 2006, Atos Origin has been awarded the prestigious Tier 1 status as part of the "EADS E2S preferred supplier for engineering services" program. Covering the purchase of more than E2 billion in engineering services a year, the program is designed to create a select pool of Tier 1 suppliers in order to broaden EADS's global manufacturing footprint, optimize total cost of ownership and limit the company's dollar exposure.

In addition to integrating SAP, ECM and other management systems and providing consulting services, for the past 15 years, Atos Origin has been a benchmark EADS partner for the design and development of real-time onboard software, as well as for structural design work on such major programs as the Airbus A380, A400M and the future A350. In all, more than 250 Atos Origin employees are deploying their expertise on EADS projects.
